North Metro Little League accepts a check for $1000.
Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric would like to announce North Metro Little League as one of the May Brothers Gives Back recipients. A couple weeks ago, in preparation for the upcoming season, went out to their home fields and found someone had stolen the storage boxes where they kept their supplies for multiple teams.
For groups like the North Metro Little League, they try to keep costs down to make it affordable for everyone who wants to play. Their concern is not having the money to replenish the stolen supplies while balancing other financial issues that an organization like this has to pay for. (i.e. Field Rent, payments for referees/umpires, and other miscellanies expense.)
A team member a brothers saw this story on the news and submitted them as a Brothers Gives Back Recipient. Brothers is always looking out for our community and also like to encourage youth sports. We knew this would be a great fit for the Brothers Gives Back program and knew these funds were important to help get the season going so we wanted to get this out to them as soon as possible.
